State's Rights Over Civil Rights?

We're ramping up our critique of conservatives who fail to understand the significance of the Republican-authored 14th Amendment. We focus on the same-sex marriage issue primarily because it is the most similar current event to mirror previous civil rights movements that Republicans championed. Unfortunately, now Republicans are the primary roadblocks.

There's nothing Republican about placing State's rights over an individual's civil rights. This was the mantra of the old Confederacy. These are bad, ignorant ideas that must be stamped out. The only way for the Republican party to deserve public support again is to first acknowledge we have a problem. Once identified, we must vehemently reject and flush out all poisonous views that have blinded us from our founding principles: Individual liberty and civil equality for ALL. Only then can we begin the process of healing.

Join us in our fight to #ReclaimOurParty.
