Ted Cruz: Tragic Comedy

Senator Ted Cruz is confused. He seems to think the 14th Amendment is being used by courts to "redefine" marriage. But government doesn't define marriage; it recognizes those that exist...EQUALLY!

Cruz calls SCOTUS' decision to reject the state appeals on same-sex marriage bans "tragic". The tragedy is he refuses to recognize rights that should have always been protected.

Cruz may be conservative, but he can hardly be called a Republican. Today he showed his true colors.

It's OK for Republicans to turn their backs on the ideas from the old Confederacy (State's rights over civil rights). In fact, it's our duty. It's why we became a party in the first place.
