Beware of Dishonesty

To be clear, Common Core is a set of standards, not curriculum. 

1. Standards cannot ban content (standards are minimum requirements).
2. Curriculum is set by the school district.

Common Core certainly has issues that need to be addressed, but we must adhere to reality. We cannot succumb to misguided fear mongering. 

Now can we have an honest debate?
