Ted Cruz: Liberty for Me

Senator Ted Cruz recently told the Des Moines Register that the Republican Party should not "agree to disagree" on social issues, as Senator Rand Paul suggests in regards to the generational divide on social topics. He says Republicans should stand on principle. Cruz states that Republicans should stand against any marriage other than "traditional marriage."

It is official. Senator Cruz has no idea what Republican principles are. A simple reference to a history book would show the GOP was founded on the ideals of individual liberty enumerated in the Constitution, not a single conservative's personal preference.

Republicans must cease being in opposition of liberty and the Constitution in order to proclaim to be defenders of it. Being for ALL marriage includes traditional marriage.
