According to the Obama administration, they have always been clear about the promise that if one "likes your health plan, you can keep your health plan." The administration contends it was always predicated on whether that plan met the requirements mandated by the Affordable Care Act. This argument has been met with skepticism. We have proof that not only was this distinction never made, the Obama campaign is still issuing media that makes this false claim without an asterisk.
As of today President Obama's Official website (www.barackobama.com) still posts a fact sheet intended for distribution that claims "if you like your plan, you can keep your plan."
President Obama and his campaign continues to mislead the public.
